North Grenville COVID-19 Assessment Centre open as per normal Monday, October 5, 2020
The North Grenville COVID-19 Assessment Centre will be open as per normal on Monday, October 5, 2020 and onwards.
The Assessment Centre is located at 15 Campus Drive, Kemptville (30 minutes from South Ottawa, 35 minutes from West Ottawa) and is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.
Here is how it works:
Step 1: Arrive to the Kemptville Campus soccer field entrance at County Road 44 and College Drive – there is plenty of signage as you arrive to direct you.
Step 2: You will be met in your car by Assessment Centre staff, who will determine your eligibility for testing. Whoever is eligible will receive a registration form to be completed and an appointment window that we call a TIME PASS. The time pass will have an allocated time window to return, i.e., 9am to 10am.
Step 3: Present to 15 Campus Drive (Bell Hall) at your appointed time (entrance across from Kemptville District Hospital). As you enter the campus you will be met by a security guard who will direct you to the parking lot after you present your time pass.
Step 4: Enter the Bell Building, register and get your test.
The North Grenville COVID-19 Assessment Centre has been working with this time pass system since Day 1. Designed to manage capacity and provide safe and ethical access to testing, the system works very efficiently.
