KDH maintains masking mandate
KEMPTVILLE, ONTARIO, JUNE 9, 2022 – Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) is maintaining its masking mandate beyond the expiration of the provincial masking requirement on June 11, 2022.
“As a hospital, we have a duty to care for and protect our patients, staff, and communities,” said Chief of Staff, Dr. Colin Sentongo. “Masking requirements will remain in effect at KDH for the safety of all patients and staff.”
This is in response to Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore’s statement on June 8, 2022 that most of the province’s remaining masking requirements, including on public transit and in hospitals, will expire on June 11, 2022.
The masking requirement will remain in force at KDH for all staff, patients and visitors until further notice.
