Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Health Information Management Professional to join our growing team, on a permanent part-time basis.

Qualifications

  • Health Information Professional Diploma or equivalent; Health Record Administrator or Health Record Technician Diploma from an accredited college;
  • Two years’ experience as a Health Information Professional;
  • Current registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA);
  • Working knowledge of privacy legislation;
  • NACRS and DAD coding experience;
  • Experience with an EMR Coding Software (an asset);
  • Computer literacy and competency;
  • Commitment to continuing education;
  • Office and filing skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Starting wage:

$30.43/hr

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. ​​This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
