Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Booking/Filing Clerk to join our growing team, on a casual basis

Qualifications
- Medical Office Administration Diploma from an accredited learning institute required;
- Experience in booking patients required (in a hospital setting preferred, 3+ years experience);
- Minimum 55 wpm typing;
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications, SharePoint and experience with electronic health record (EPIC);
- Familiarity with medical terminology;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced medical office and filing skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Starting wage: $25.16/hr

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
