Mr. George Enei

George Enei, P.Eng., is a retired senior executive with the federal public service.

He held senior positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and the Office of the Chief Science Advisor. He served as Assistant Deputy Minister, Corporate Services & Chief Information Officer, as well as Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Technology. His contributions on the international stage include serving as President of the Bureau and Chair of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Chemicals Committee and Working Party on Chemicals, Pesticides, and Biotechnology. Mr. Enei holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Toronto and a certificate in Municipal Administration from Mohawk College in Hamilton. In his retirement, he is committed to volunteering his experience, knowledge and time to charities and not-for-profits to maximize the potential of individuals to further their goals and contribute to better communities. Mr. Enei is currently President of the Board of Directors for the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization and Vice President of the Parent Resource Centre. Mr. Enei resides in Manotick.
